The Sound of Glory

The sound of glory gets lost in the wind
as falling tears of loss echo loud
for those left to mourn remembering with fondness
of their brave heart that stood tall in a crowd.
Never glory a reason but less would be treason
for our brave men and woman in arms
to stand tall their colours while fighting with valour
protecting the weak ones from harm.
It is always the brave ones the give life to others
with their own life given as cost
and those that are left here must remember forever
of this great life that mankind has lost.
To make their life dearer we must all be much clearer
that warfare will only take lives
of our brave men and women so willing and giving
and leave us their loved ones to cry.

Anti-war again…
