Love, The Blank Mind
Love is an emotion,
That affects us all,
No matter who we are,
We hear the love dove call.
Love, its a fantastic feeling,
Makes us giddy to our soul,
And when we meet the peep of our dreams,
It truly makes us whole.
Love, a sublime pastime,
The feeling is so sweet,
Really sends you reeling,
Knocks you off your feet.
'Love, my mind's blank,'
Said a peep to me,
When i asked him for a title,
I wanted to write him one you see.
So the title that he gave me,
Was based on 'love' as you can see,
That's what happens when you ask me for a poem,
And then it wings its way to thee.
So, on the wing of a prayer,
like a feather on the sea of time,
Remember, love is the greatest emotion,
Tis good, and true and fine!
