Rebuke for Indifference
A witness as faithful and true,
Has the insight for seeing through;
For as the source of creation,
God gives us regeneration.
For He knows just what you have done,
So He had sent His only Son;
As a sacrifice for all sin,
That has corrupted each within.
But you are neither hot nor cold,
You could neither freeze nor melt gold;
Rather merely being lukewarm,
To His standards does not conform.
Out of His mouth Jesus will spit,
To throw you in the fiery pit;
Since the right degree you are not,
And neither are you cold nor hot.
You say of being rich and wealthy,
But not spiritually healthy;
Wearing white clothes to hide your shame,
Of sinful scars that gave you fame.
Think serious to change the way,
In letting yourself go astray;
Modify how you think and act,
Ere Judgment Day has an impact.
