The Wedding...
The music was playing in the church,
And as the bride walked up the isle,
She turned her head a little to see...
And he gave her a lovely smile.
When she was at the alter,
Side by side with her hubby to be,
She blushed a bright hue of red,
She was a shy old soul you see.
The congregation was all of a dither,
Tears falling all around,
Happy tears, but lots of them,
Soaking all the ground!
The priest asked the groom a question,
And then he asked the wife to be...
'Do you take him for your betrothed?'
She was as nervous as could be!
Of course the shy girl said yes,
And the groom, he jumped with a start,
She'd finally said yes, she did!
You could hear the racing of his heart.
This was the final ceremony,
All the people cheered and clapped,
But all they needed was their pit...
Coz their energies were all zapped!
