Picture This
Through window pane of broken glass
We stare into and out to past
Stirring the soul where shadows cast
Where memories keep and ever last
Feelings colored mostly of blue
Where far too many outweigh the few
That left a heart with strings not played
Alone whats left in us has stayed
We persevere with strength not ours
Standing at doorway that seems to tower
Above and out of reach just short
Where peace of mind our hope does court
Picture this if you so can
A heart fulfiiled woman or mans
That need not ache or feel betrayed
Decieved by love once had that strayed
Love keeps you warm with company
When shared truthful it's what one needs
To be with them one truly loves
No less no more of it thought of
