What Does The Future Hold For Me?
What does the future hold for me?
And what of the change in my life!
Will things get better or worse?
Will I continue to live without strife?
I wonder what fate has in store for me!
Will I continue to live alone?
And will my life take a turn for the better?
Will I end up in a happy home?
I wonder about the future,
Will it change or stay the same?
And would I find love and contentment?
In this, life's great game!
Will I let it bother me if not…
No, I won't because you see...
I'm happy as things are in my life,
As happy as I can be!
So what does the future hold for me?
And do I really want to know?
No, I don't, because if I'm honest,
I know down which road to go!
I have a life and I'm happy,
The way that it's turned out,
And if I had the ability to change the past,
Then I would without a doubt!
But I can't so I accept my fate,
No matter what that will be,
For at the end of the day, what can I say?
Except, I'm glad I'm little old me!
