The holidays do fast approach
Upon us all as if they coach
On your mark, get set, now go!
The rush now here all of us know
It's starts with Black Friday the day
Shoppers gone wild and what one pays
To buy the gift they plan to give
That fades with time short time it's lived
No elbow room in shopping mall
No place to sit, your mission calls
For you to shop, until you drop
In warmer states in your flip flops
The scheme of things seems one forgets
Who makes it so and also lets
This day special not sold in stores
Forgotten one to your soul poor
Don't mean to rain on your parade
Christmas or wreaths upon house layed
Just thought we would remind you of
Whose day it is, sent to save from sky above
In troth, manger He would be born
To save not judge but to be scorned
As man refused to not accept
His gift under doormat we swept
Jesus, The Gift that keeps on giving
Each waking hour, His still forgiving
Maybe today upon reading
This write if read ones soul we're seeding
This holiday my wish for you
Is that you see who helps you through
The best of days and too the worse
Gods seen you through in opened purse
Be still and know who gives you strength
Though lost are you and at great length
Maybe this year you will receive
The gift of life, Mary conceived
He came not to judge but to save the world. Remember CHRIST ON CHRISTmas
