Never Ceasing
The road endured, His feet withstood
The journeys end, misunderstood
Yet even so His walk would lead
Many to come, and sow His seed
One cannot fathom how feeble mind
Blessed by the Lord, treated unkind
Would sell out Grace for mere shekels
Insult to injury were those that heckled
Plan Divine would set in motion
Once celebrated with great emotion
He'd ride on beast of burden through
Jerusalem, Hosanna they cried to Him some knew
He rode and walked, He sat and talked
To all who'd lend an ear to Him
Even to those who lived for sin
His birth was no coincidence
Yet still today mans impedance
Turns blind eye filled with ignorance
With this in mind He still fulfilled
His work today and still His fill
Has not been met and so He waits
To save mankind from fiery fate
A child was born in stable troth
Grew to become CHRIST not enough
To arrogance that ignores truth
To stubborness real and uncouth
Wise is not the man who counts
On strength and wealth that won't amount
To nothing more but theirs alone
Amazing Grace, how GOD condones
Never ceasing, His work not done
The Trinity still calls to one
Maybe today you'll hear His voice
When read you do, this write, your choice
Though I am not worthy, Gods mercy allowed me to say you are. May this write inspire you to repent and serve Him with your life
