From the Heart Through the Pen

Man or Dog?

Going into two ten
Still looking for the right woman
When will the search come to an end
How much patience will I be able to stand
Am I just being stubborn
Is my heart tired and worn
And will I just settle

These are some questions presented
Seems as if they'll go unanswered
Faith, how much more do I have left in storage
Maybe it was sold during the last garage sale
Cause surely all my other methods have failed
All the good women bailed
Said they love them some rude bwoys

Rather have toys than what's real
That makes sense don't it
I must be the only jerk who cares
Just how you truly feel
Treat you like a queen
Yet that's not what you feen
So I'll just close my door

And wait for that knock
With the tears streaming
Wondering where you went wrong
And I'll have to be the one that's strong
The one who has to sit and watch
You trade your prince for a frog
The true man wondering if he were better off as a dog
