Wrapped it's not yet in His eyes
Is seen The gift that would surprise
You who does not seek His face
You who knows not Love's embrace
No fancy bow or greeting card
No mistletoe but who you are
To Him who too does open gifts
On Christmas Day with joy he lifts
Like child our GOD does celebrate
Upon the eve where birthed was fate
A child, His own would soon become
The Hope for man, victory to come
Picture this if you so can
On Christmas day The GOD of man
Will sit on throne with gifts received
Those called His own blessed and conceived
No price tag attached would be
Too high a cost for He believes
Each one of us, precious to Him
His gifts this day, those turned from sin
He holds each one gently each day
More so when day His day will play
His part this world does recognize
His heart, The Truth by world despised
Today He opens gifts again
Like you and I on knees He'll bend
Touching each soul who comprehends
Today The GIFT is you Godsend
This write was written when I was approached by my Pastor
to write a 15 minute skit for Christmas eve. The thought
was not ours but God inspired which led me to think how does
GOD celebrate His day. So in a nutshell the above poem is a brief
description of what the Lord put into my heart to write about.
We hope it brings a smile to your face and more so Gods love to your
heart. You see GOD also opens gifts on Christmas. May you recognize
