They toll to bring attention to
The world, all souls to come unto
The Lord whose day draws near again
A day unlike, our true Godsend
Most will rush and shopping spree
Is all they know and all they see
Sad this state of vanity
Others will drink and pound their fists
While at the bar looking at lists
Of things to do, of things to give
Forgetting child, the GOD that lives
Food abundant on most tables
As others starve and are unable
To share a meal but still believe
There is a GOD, they have received
Good news is here in hearts that break
The Savior born is whats at stake
Hold fast and share today His name
The best now here for man to claim
The gift that never breaks or fade
The breath of life for world He saved
For you and I, for all He died
To rise again, turning sins tide
This Christmas day please share the peace
That gives you all to say the least
That asks to share good will to men
To show compassion and say amen
Some poor soul whose hand extends
That begs maybe for you to lend
What GOD gave you in pocket yours
Maybe some change to help endure
A feud that still brings you much pain
With family, friend that feels the same
Break bread, make peace for GOD calls to
Rejoice with them, forgive them too
His wish, our words will knock on doors
The ones closed shut that love no more
Who needs to know that GOD loves them
From birth until eternity spend
