That Day My Body Died
That Day My Body Died
I heard a voice from neath the grave
It cried out in the night
I knew right then I was its slave
I fought with all my might
My strength was gone; I felt so weak
My will had been sucked dry
I felt a hand upon me feet
I heard the ware wolf's cry
The air grew cold; the moon was high
I could not run away
I tried in vain; felt horrified
I soon became its prey
I closed my eyes, and threw myself
Upon the cold hard ground
I braced myself and yelled for help
I couldn't make a sound
I felt her breath upon my skin
I turned and saw her face
I knew she was the queen of sin
She grabbed me by my waste
She pulled me close up to her chest
Her lips were red as blood
She kissed me hard unveiled her breasts
I knew I fell in love
The days are long the nights are cold
But she is by my side
I feel so young I won't grow old
That day my body died
