things I have been thinking about

Roll

In that big square black box inside my head,
I just sit there in the middle,
on that old wooden chair,
waiting.
Waiting on me, waiting on you.
I don't know.
The last thing I remember, I was 22.
It's going on outside, lights always on-
the pain, the lives, the emotions, the flippin sea tides.
I laugh at how moving fast and endless it keeps,
as if we had a chance.
Throw the dice somtimes.
You got to roll inside here.
