Essence

Traveler

Peened by  universal  laws,
Guided by a ray bright,
Unchained at last,
A song eternal through flute,
As a Sikh traveler,
I pass Sutlej on horseback.
Mine is now a falcon on hand,
Friend of sparrows, life,
Of these wheat fields,
Which shall be my home?
