A perfect day begins in sunshine
Not rain, showers wind blowing
Outside the window it is snowing
The first sign of spring daffodils
A tiny bird shivers on my windowsills
Warmly dressed against winter's chills
A day without pain relieved by pills
Outside a bumblebee scaring my hummingbirds
The TV on a commentators unheard words
You say that doesn't sound like a perfect day
It is only because it is a day spent with you
Another perfect day in our love so true
But you know dear lets skip the barbecue
And go inside and make pot roast stew
The weather outside my dear is frightful
Think I'll stay inside with company delightful
Every five minutes weatherman says more bad weather
I'm going inside hiding waiting for spring
Waiting inside in covers waiting for good weather
I am unromantic think by then we will be together?
Because a perfect day is for me sunny and warm
On Dancer and prancer and the reindeer with red nose
I'm going inside with pajamas and warm clothes
And you guys complaining about the Holiday season
On the 25th Jesus Christ was born that is the reason
Those that don't know go to the mall if your pleasing
Myself I am staying inside warm not outside freezing
