 Give Thanks On Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving Pictures, Images and Photos

This week will bring another day
Abundance flows to all dismayed
Though some will miss the point to say
Thank you LORD if we just prayed

The football games and the parades
Will be the things some will display
On big flat screens but not in heart
Flat lined are souls and far apart

Apart from where they need to be
Alone maybe who seek mercy
Just two more things that separate
The need to have both GOD and faith

Ungrateful seems the word to write
For many seem fall short of sight
Where others thank yet live in blight
Acknowledge Him, worshiped tonight

Family will gather and too will friends
Strangers maybe this day will lend
A hand with meal and baking pies
Not thanking Him, in Him abide

Some eat today and second servings
Will be on dish yet not occurring
Is He who said He would be calling
His second coming upon man falling

Give thanks and praise if you did read
This write today, another seed
To sow in soul that does not thank
To know of GOD, in Him to bank

Save your soul for all it's worth
Give thanks to GOD and seek rebirth
For in the end the day will come
To share Thanksgiving in His Kingdom

May you know Him who made this day and your tomorrows
