And I Still Won't Break!!I am the tree that never broke, For I sway in the breeze each day, And back and forth I swish, And deal with everything that comes my way. And that is still the way it is for me, Cos you know - I still won't break! For I will continue as I always have, And keep things as calm as I can make! And while that wind doth blow and sway, And send me all over the place, I still stay true to my own word, Cos I don't want to leave this place! Not yet, cos I have things to do, There re people who need me here! And for that reason, I ask my God, To let me stay around and be there! I'm not afraid to die you know! Nah, cos me and God both know, That when the time comes for my demise, To heaven is where I will go! But it's just that things are iffy, And someone I love so dear... Is in need of my strength and support, So I hope I made that quite clear? When I chatted to my God, I mean? You know, every day, as I do, In the hope that He doesn't want me yet! And leave me here to see things through. So now I am back to swaying, And swishing about like mad! So I will continue to bend, not break, Cos otherwise it would make me sad! Cos I never break my promise to God, And so I do as I do every day, I will never break, but will always bend, Until its time for me to go away!
