Mysteries of the Nightit is late at night very cold outside but i am mesmerized by what i see the sky floats like a ghost of my mind its the view of the northern lights natures aerobatics of the winter night in the northern parts of the world when nature puts on her haunting displays the mysteries of the night you stand in awe of the majestic view knowing the chemistry behind only wanting to feel the mystical sight believing what the mind does say this is the paint brush strokes given life by the hand of God his gift to us when nature puts on her haunting displays the mysteries of the night its the raw call of the wild no buildings to block views no shadows to hide no sounds of cars to disturb your thoughts no airplanes out of place only the pure sights of the lonely and serene displays of the night air when nature puts on her haunting displays the mysteries of the night cities are built everywhere people congregate in masses all around trees disappear wild animals put on display buildings hide sunsets this is progress for mankind like ants in the wild only much bigger when nature puts on her haunting displays the mysteries of the night Vote for this poem
