The Magic Never Leaves

Photobucket
the heart waltzes around my head it is giddy with love
when he walks through the door it resurfaces with force
i am helplessly captured in its allure the magic strong
love may become content but the magic never leaves

we talk we laugh we are serious we are silly we are us
we never seem to tire of each other making plans together
what will we do today how will we spend our time or not
love may become content but the magic never leaves

we have moments when we tease each other being kids again
curling up next to him snicky snacks in front we watch movies
classical music fills our heads as we quietly read our books
love may become content but the magic never leaves

our furry friend lays close to us or walks across our laps
he approves of our little family shares our lives with us
yes we are content we are happy life is now good for us
love may become content but the magic never leaves
