Kim…My Friend!
You have sadness in your heart,
As deep as any sea,
A wound so harsh and gaping,
A pain we can not see.
I feel your pain, but I can't see it,
And I will never presume to know…
Just how hard you hurt,
For those feelings are not on show.
If I had a magic wand,
I would wave it over you,
And give you all you want in life,
A love that's good and true.
But fate took a hand in your life,
And it breaks my heart to see…
You so sad and down…
Because that's very hard for me…!
You hurt so much it pains me,
You have an ache that won't go away,
But trust me Kim, it will ease,
One day, it will happen, one day!
For now you need to focus,
On the life before your eyes,
And every time you feel that pain,
Raise your eyes to the skies.
For there above the clouds,
High up in the air,
Is your love, your only love…!
And he's forever waiting there…!
Believe it to be so,
And remember wherever you may be,
You are surrounded by his love,
A love as wide as the big vast sea!
You also have the love of this friend,
And whenever you feel sad and blue,
Say the word, my ears are there…
Always ready and waiting for you.
Fight the good fight stay strong,
And never forget who you are,
And one day soon, believe me,
You will realise you have come far.
