 The cards on the table
The cards are upon the table
My future is looking quite dim
I face a life of sadness
A life that's not with him

A lonely chair, a lonely room
As i sit here all alone
My cards are upon the table
And hes not about to come home

Ive faced my music in many ways
But none as painful as this
Nothing can compare the pain
Or the memories of that last kiss

Yes my cards are all laid out
The jack, the king, the queen
But the biggest card is the joker
And hes about to treat me mean

He stuck his face in front of me
I could almost hear him say you clown
My cards are all laid out for me
Ive been the biggest fool in town
