Rules, regulations and even stipulations
Often lead to quite heated confrontations.
I think I know why this happens a lot
The rule makers simply seem to have forgot
That the rules should be in place for everyone
And if the truth be told, should exclude no one.
There seems to be one rule for them and one for us
They don`t seem to understand why we make a fuss,
They should set an example for us to follow
Not give us lame excuses we`re supposed to swallow.
There`s always an exception to the rule they say
And at times they could be right I daresay,
But this always seems to apply to only them
For if we should try it us they would just condemn.
They always seem to be able to bend the rules
I think at times they just take us for fools,
They think we`re too thick to question their move
Knowing we would most likely disapprove.
If they truly want us to tow the line
Then they should give us some sort of sign,
They could take a leaf out of their own book
Then nothing they did could ever be mistook.
