 Steeler Bear's Plight

Near the drop-off window is lil Steeler Bear's home;
He is very happy there, never does he wish to roam.
Yet, on occasion, someone will dangle him by his foot;
His Steeler blood rushes to his head, but he stays put.

Steeler Bear just takes a sip from a pineapple drink;
He hangs and waits for Sue, his face now pink.
A purple sash around Steeler Bear's ankle was tied;
The Ravens hosted Pittsburgh, Steeler fans cried.

Big Ben's head hurt, so someone new was at the helm;
In OT the Steeler's fell, but the Ravens did not overwhelm.
This action against Steeler Bear is not considered a crime;
So for Steeler Bear's plight, I have written this little rhyme.

Rescued once again from the perils of dangling upside down;
Little Steeler Bear is smiling once again, gone is that frown.
Next week the Steelers will win, and the next four weeks as well;
As the Steelers roll into the playoffs, lil Steeler Bear will yell!

In the pharmacy of our local Wal-Mart, a little stuffed teddy bear sits
wearing a Pittsburgh Steeler sweater. My wife works here, along with Sue,
a Pharmacy Tech who is a Steeler fanatic, as am I. Sherrie told me of
lil Steeler Bear's plight as I was watching the Steelers- Ravens game last
night. I wrote this for Sue and for lil Steeler Bear, as pranksters struck.
