Lifting up the Church

I always thank God for you,
Because you seem to instill;
The way Christ Jesus shines through,
Showing God and His good will.

Through Christ you have become rich,
In all that you do and say;
Since there is no bait and switch,
To cause me to go astray.

Through Christ Jesus you have wealth,
Of much wisdom in your mind;
Knowledge of spiritual health,
That on earth you cannot find.

You do not lack any gift,
When it will be soon revealed;
Who will receive the uplift,
When the Book then unsealed.

Christ will keep giving you strength,
That no one tries to accuse;
Or goes to any great length,
In distorting your values.

For that day will be real soon,
To see Christ up in the cloud;
And He comes back to commune,
To pick you up from the crowd.
