The good the bad and the Ugly
Mom couldn't afford babysitters
So I lived with Grandma and Grandpa
So there is some good
Grandma lived four blocks from Lake Washington
all summer was swimming and playing
There were sunburns and baseball playing
Six years old we moved from Grandma
Now I was the baby sitter for my sister
Second grade I was lost in a snowstorm
Pushing my bike up a hill for a mile
Somehow I didn't freeze and got the furnace going
Dropping the match in oil so frightening
Somehow I survived to high school
I graduated on probation just played games
The military called and yes I answered
National guard, Air force time in naval school.
Mom wanted a Doctor I was emergency room medic
Still playing games I went to college to play basketball
They expect you to study in college?
I raised a 1.8 to a 2.5 Associate degree
Injuries ended playing basketball
Marriage, two children, five Grandchild, I think I did well
I don't blame childhood for my failures I blame me
Baseball taught me math survival taught me to read
