Children Duties

Please obey your parents,
And show them the respect,
Do not be resistant,
On advice you reject.

For it is the right thing,
Honoring mom and dad;
What obedience brings,
Does make God truly glad.

God placed you in their care,
For raising you upright;
With a gift that they share,
Of wisdom for insight.

All will go very well,
For living a long life;
While on earth you dwell,
To minimize the strife.

So please keep this in mind,
A crucial commandment;
That brings Jesus to bind,
Into your alignment.

With Christian discipline,
Takes out the bitterness;
That would lead you to sin,
And changed to blessedness.
