God Is Standing Up For You
Is there someone out there hurting
And you don't know what to do?
Then this message may bring healing
If you will just allow it to.
God has never been more present
Than when your soul is suffering
Or your body's not responding
To healing that His Word can bring.
Be it physical or emotional,
No matter how intense the trial,
Waves of Grace are rushing toward you...
God's been with you all the while.
The harder life harrasses you
The closer He draws near.
When you're crying "Lord, where are You?"
He's no farther than your tear.
Our God relates to suffering...
He's no stranger to your pain.
Empathy and sympathy
Still saturate His Name.
Devils like to disguise truth...
They try distorting all that's real.
Remember Steven being stoned?
What do his words reveal?
He saw Jesus standing up!!
And this principle holds true,
When stones are being thrown your way
God is standing up for you!

"And when they heard these things they were
cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with
their teeth.
But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed
into Heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus
standing at the right hand of God,
and said,"Look! I see the heavens opened and the
Son of man standing at the right hand of God!"
Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped
their ears, and ran at him with one accord;
and they cast him out of the city and stoned him..."
Acts 7:54-58
Author's Note:
We read in other scriptures that Jesus is seated
at the right hand of God...but here He is standing!
Let the significence of this TRUTH wash over you...
Jesus stands up for His children!!
"Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the
excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord,
for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and
count them all as rubbish, that I may gain Christ
and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness,
which is from the law, but that which is through faith
in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection,
and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed
to His death."
Philippians 3:8-10
