Memories from the first time we met
I had a crush right away
I wont ever let myself forget
The feelings from that day
He was much older than me
Can you believe by 25 years
I wasn't someone he would normally see
So I had doubts and fears
I knew I had to have his attention
For reasons more than the look in his eyes
He made me feel tension
To get him I would have to be wise
One moment was all it took
And he became mine
He wasn't hard to hook
It didn't take hardly no time
And here we are together
We have made a family that's my own
I hope that this lasts forever
I'm thankful for how our relationship has grown
