 If my life were different
If my life were different in ways i cant explain
I would walk a million miles to go down memory lane
To see the places i once went, see faces that i knew
But most of all down memory lane, i would walk again with you.

I remember times we used to laugh, and chat about old times
Listen to the same old songs, and recite our poems and rhymes
How i wish that i could journey back to a place i long to be
To walk again down memory lane, be alone once more with thee.

The sun don't shine here in my heart, my mind is so confused
There's no laughter in this old heart, it cannot be amused
The leaves upon the trees have fallen, winter is here again
If my life were different then maybe i could explain.
