 Wisdom of the Trees
Silently standing as watchers over all of the earth.
Densely grouped in forests, or a lonesome pine.
Year after year, in stillness and peace they live their lives,
Branches reaching towards the sun, roots anchoring deep.
Consider the trees wisdom for just a moment or two.
Understand the peace of their life, one with their destiny.
Not requesting to grow their own way, never the warrior.
There is such a sensation of wisdom received by me,
When sitting in an old grove of these gentle giants.
A calm comes over my soul, a peace in my mind.
The wisdom that never resists it's destiny;
Growing silently, watching peacefully, waiting patiently.
Life touches my every molecule with a vibrant energy;
The wisdom of the trees bring my soul refreshment.
