 A Christmas Wish
I have been called a dreamer, a idealist, some say a nut;
But it my deepest desire to manifest universal love in truth.
Not some pseudo Christmas well wish, still harboring hate;
But the release of my grasping for MINE, opening my hand.
I look around me and see that I am not alone in some fantasy;
But there is a movement happening within the common soul.
Mankind has their glimpse of this during this holiday season;
Recognizing the beauty, desiring the peace, thirsting for the love.
A tear forms in my eye as I see a hard heart pause for a moment;
Open his tight fist, if only for second; now freed from the turmoil.
I look into your eyes my brother, my sister; with sincerity I can say;
May your Christmas be full of love and peace, may it last every day.
