Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
Coffee Cake
There are no windows in this soul.
Just stabby thoughts and
Bloodstained memories.
I'm trapped, banging on
The door to be let out,
The other voices begging me to stay.
Darkness falls,
Crashing down and swallowing
Me from my feet up.
Sticking pins in my eyes
And placing shards of glass
Beneath my feet,
I destroy my mothers gift.
I no longer have to care, as
This blindness eats away
At my sanity.
I no longer have to be.

Just stabby thoughts and
Bloodstained memories.
I'm trapped, banging on
The door to be let out,
The other voices begging me to stay.
Darkness falls,
Crashing down and swallowing
Me from my feet up.
Sticking pins in my eyes
And placing shards of glass
Beneath my feet,
I destroy my mothers gift.
I no longer have to care, as
This blindness eats away
At my sanity.
I no longer have to be.
