A Friday afternoon lost in surround sound...
Sound - in an instant -
at the tip of a touch -
takes life - and lifts
all the blackness away...
In this playful lightness -
I merge with the sound -
of rhythm in heart beats
And sunshine in words...
Lost in the romance
of Paris in spring -
with lashes of laughter
on the banks on the Seine...
Strings plucked with fingers -
then stroked with a bow -
followed by wind storms -
velvet and rich...
Rain drops and footsteps -
patterned and clear -
waltz into ever
and circle the room...
Tapping and drumming -
gentle and light-
turn from the future
into the now...
A pat on my shoulder -
a smile speaking love -
sit here beside me -
no need to talk...
