You spoke the world
into being
it was You who caused
all taste and smell and seeing
With just one word
YOU spoke restoration to human life
love-joy-and peace were Your
replacements for all our strife
With just one word
YOU cast the demons we held within
exchanging forgiveness
for all our many sins
With just one word
You called us each by our name
no longer do we have to hide
behind our shame
With just one word
straight from heaven-You send relief
You hear our cries
from every sorrow,hurt and grief
With just one word
someday You'll call us
before YOUR THRONE
where all unanswered questions
will then, be made known!
