Who is this image
a women in my mirror
looking intensely
straight into her eyes
she's freed of shame
her eyes smile
with perfected quietness...
how well her eyes tell her history
her life story
every road traveled
way down into her deserts and valleys
her eyes take me
where in drought and darkness
she lived at times
despondent
helpless
depressed
where death appeared
as her only hope....
it was there on the edge
of life and death
her eyes were opened
it was there that
her smile was born....
lost in her darkened estate
the Daystar shined
HIS LOVE into
the eyes of her soul
taking her beyond
her feelings into
a world of faith...
into the unknown
where undiscovered
treasures are unending
where her eyes always
meet with HIS EYES!
I know this image
in my mirror
and the reflection
is not my own
I see the EYES
of my SAVIOR
calling me
to walk with HIM
upon my raging waters!
