Is True Love Too Big Of A Temptation To Claim?
Is true love too big of a temptation to claim?
Down through history ageless skies strain
just to muster these two words, "always together,"
But why must my heart be full today
and empty tomorrow,
My soul in Eden then out her paradise forever…?
Is true love too big of a temptation to claim?
Down through history faceless skies strain
in pain
Just to hear her say, "throughout eternity"
Love saw her beautiful reflection
and said, " Yes, I love thee,"
Truly…misery loves insanity
Is true love too big of a temptation to claim?
Down through history pale skies they strain
to produce a drop of rain
in the lonely sea
Somebody please tell me
or do I ask in vain
because of her beauty
Why must fulfillment suffer because of the lack of reason?
Ah, the skies are missing the two most beautiful seasons
She can bring
I charge her with treason!
For mixing my hopes and my pains
with the spring showers and the winter rains,
and inspiring and teasing
my heart strings
Is true love too big of a temptation to claim?
Down through history broken skies strain
out its lows and highs,
Making these bitter sweet tears hang
in the corner of my eyes, I can't see
Why is it snowing in May…? Snow!
Somebody, please tell me some sweet lies
before the cold eat my heart away…Slow
Is true love too big of a temptation to claim?
Down through history in ageless skies we strain
just to stay sane, maybe…
I don't know
Is true love too big of a temptation to claim?
Down through history ancient skies pure hearts lit aflame
when they heard, "I love you," maybe so
I wish I knew
