Till All Have HeardGod had promised this Good News, Back in Old Testament views; Through the prophets it was said, Of raising One from the dead. This Good News about His Son, The fight over sin was won; Who is the Lord Jesus Christ, Through the cross was sacrificed. From David in human form, Where animals were kept warm; He was declared Son of God, As angels went to applaud. And through the toils and strife, With a thirty three year life; Many just could not believe, All that their ears would receive. While others found a belief, That wound up with such a grief; Seeing Him hung on the cross, And dying from the blood loss. But of the faith that they lack, Was able to get it back; They saw that He was alive, In human form for to thrive. So I continue to dwell, About the Good News to tell; As stated within the Word, Till everyone has heard. Copyright © 2009 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
