Today is Dec. 13th and a very special day
For this is the date my Sis Joycie celebrates her birthday
We found from day one we had alot in common
We both love poetry but most of all love God's kingdom
All good gifts come from the Father above
Both your heart and poetry shows God's love
I'm sure there's many that will join in
To send love and wishes on your day of celebrating
For you have touched more lives than you know
When they visit your site on the web "poetnmysol"
Your gift is very versatile with your own style
Surely to cause the reader to visit awhile
But the greatest joy is becoming your friend
Your giving and caring heart has absolutely no end
Even being stricken with cancer there was no hesitation
Giving thanks to God always for a life of celebration
I know it was your thankful heart that carried you thru
Making you a cancer survivor was God's promise made true
For He is faithful and will never forsake you
By giving Him thanks we bring Him glory too
I want to thank God for You today
Praying you'll always have God's favor along the way
And some sweet day we'll meet face to face
Where we can write poetry together and sing God's praise
