Desert sands...
The souls of my feet are burning
After walking across red hot sands
The sun beating down upon my brow
Sweating are my trembling hands.
Ive endured many pains in my life
But this roads been long and hard
No communication passes my way
No hello or no farewell regards
Here in this remote part of the world
Sand storms blind me each day
Some stranger upon his camel
Just stares as he passes my way
The thirst i endure is beyond reason
Little water is all i can spare
To a tongue that is sore and dry
An oasis is what i long there
Slowly my mind is shrinking
Sun burning right into my brain
Oh how i so long to be home
Back in reality once again
If death comes to me while i am here
As i blister and suffer in pain
I swear when i arrive at my makers door
That i shall never look here again.
