In life we lived it used to be
Less seems more at least for me
I grasped at straws that disappeared
When close we got, so far was near
Chased dreams cross what seemed the world
Like ball of wax I'd melt at night we curled
Upon my bed, upon my knees
We'd cry these nights to be set free
Love was mine just yesterday
but no more today we'd say
Hold fast I did to this that played
A part of life that was just then
A part of me once and again
Remember where we were and now
Seems to work out, some way, some how
Close we find we need to be
To Him who knows the soul in me
Sure, I fight thinking we're good
So sad this state, misunderstood
As He has all things good in hand
To make me great, once made of sand
Crumble we would when waves would come
Undone was left of us thought done
Rebuild He said and made it so
For us He loves and won't let go
Silly me timetable mine
Is not worthwhile, yet still He finds
The things in me most times so blind
He sees and more one of a kind
To those who read this one, forgive the lost He finds in me
