Feed His FlocksThe elders of the church, Have hearts and minds to search; About their blessedness, By bearing true witness. For they must bear His name, And willing to proclaim; The suffering of Christ, And what was sacrificed. They must prepare to share, Making their flock aware; The glory that is sealed, And that will be revealed. Be shepherds of the flock, For the wolves like to stalk; Since God entrusted you, That all sheep remain true. Watch over them like God, That none will become flawed; When one seems to be lost, Bring them back at all cost. So be an example, To the church and people; The chief Shepherd comes back, To judge you where you lack. Copyright © 2009 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
