Dear JESUS
It is my hope that you receive
My thanks for all that you've conceived
Upon this Earth including us
Who sometimes falls just short of trust
We write to also ask a favor
Of you my LORD now I call Savior
You see my friends upon this site
Could use your love to shed some light
Some have lost a soul mate theirs
That now moved on with you out there
Missed are they they knew and loved
A loss unkind and most thought of
There is Sir Ish who Doris misses
and too Joanna whose butterfly kisses
Are missed by mom who dreams tonight
Of holding her she once held tight
There is Lee, your native son
Whose son you have as Codi's won
Your love my father who knows all hearts
As goodbye births a brand new start
Many more I cannot name
But loss is loss and felt the same
My prayer tonight is you will whisper
To mom and dad, brother and sister
The words we cannot speak or write
To tell them that they are alright
For in your hands you drew the faces
That once they touched, back to GOD traces
In time they too who I write of
Will know you father who truly loves
Each and every one of them
Today with heart and ear you lend
Give them strength when they are weak
Pour your love so they can seek
Refuge in you who knows all things
Peace to them with your blessing
