 NINETEEN THOUSAND READS BEHIND YOU
When we were both nineteen
It probably did not matter
If the world was mean
And the chatter
Of it
Rolling in our head
Fit
Like two snuggled in bed
Times of John living
Instant karma in the sky
Love peace and hope giving
Knowledge to the third eye
It was mystical flowers
Peace signs and chants
All for love's powers
Were raw and naked in our dance
Stringy hair flowing
Over breasts that had not fed
Free to be going
Out to the world ahead
Of our times
Words lines ABC's
In rhymes
Unspoken frees.
