Distinct Not Extinct
The pleasures mine to have become
A friend an ear, a fan you've won
Though you feel you cannot stand
Remember this, you're in demand
Unique, distinct is what you are
A light on Earth, a shining star
A young girl born just yesterday
A woman now breathing today
No longer will you fall on knees
To him who broke your heart now free
Though darkness knocks upon you're door
Answer and say get lost, no more
Wisdom yours will help you through
Today though one will soon be two
For love is yours and GOD sees this
From Heavens gate is blown His kiss
He'll hold you till he sends someone
To heal and mend what someones done
In a short time though seems forever
You'll meet and share future endeavors
Write you have and write you will
Seems like your days were bitter pills
But no more hold and be strong
The One righteous will right this wrong
We wish you well and God speed
His strength is yours upon it feed
Lean on Him whose understanding
Will guide you through life so demanding
Distinct you are and not extinct
Keep that in mind and rise not sink
