Today's The DAY
Today's the day, acknowledge Him
Whose light glows bright and never dims
Whose hands and feet have played a role
To save mankind a walk not strolled
Today rejoice for a new King
Has brought the best of offerings
Upon your plate and too you're soul
If you embrace, become His fold
Today unlike just yesterday
His kneel would start what He would save
A place for you to find true rest
No second base, much more no less
Today is yours to come and know
What ancient prophets on pages foretold
Gods Son, The CHRIST, JESUS, His name
Was born this day, save man estranged
Today again you will unwrap
The gifts given unseen on lap
Is He before you're very eyes
That calls to you, many His tries
Today someone may read this write
Find cause to doubt maybe too fight
But in the end Today's will end
His hope not mine you comprehend
Today across this world He spins
To gain access to wash your sins
To claim His right to you He loves
Today though far from sky above
Today is yours maybe it too
Will be the last you will go through
Full of pain and not of Him
Whose saves the best of worse that sin
May JESUS bring you close to Him this CHRISTmas day
