The Quiet
The quiet places draw me and I am there
The silence comforts me and soothes my soul
The TV and the stereo are off within my home
So I can hear that sweet nothingness of the quiet
Deep within my soul there is a still small voice
It is so quiet that without peace it can't be heard
This is why the craving is so strong for this softness
So I can hear that sweet, sweet voice in the quiet
When I can hear that voice healing begins
Wisdom also is it's companion and friend
It is for this peace that I listen so intensely
So I can hear within my soul, within the quiet
Shhhh…be oh so quiet… Shhhh
