A Prayer of Praise

O Lord God of Heaven,
All that you have given;
Such an inspiring God,
That I honor and laud.

You are never bias,
In keeping your promise;
In being fair and just,
When I give you my trust.

Your eyes open to see,
Caring to show mercy;
To who love and obey,
Your commandments each day.

You listen what you hear,
Keeping an open ear;
When there has been a plea,
Able to comfort me.

For all I have done wrong,
You keep me feeling strong;
Wiping out guilt and sin,
As You cleanse me within.

I am at Your command,
To guide with Your strong hand;
As I still take delight,
In doing what is right.
