 Interpreting Truth

Man has formed various world religions
All with their own Biblical interpretation
Some say everyone chooses their way
God will reveal what is right someday

Such is the way false teaching begins
Without strong faith, easily drawn in
But knowing why and what you believe
Brings assurance in not being deceived

Truth has been made known in the Bible
But some do not accept it as totally reliable
Denying key doctrines, changes the meaning
From what God intended in the beginning

Carefully recorded from Greek and Hebrew
Scholars translated it to modern languages too
Commentaries and dictionaries are useful guides
Never to replace the Holy Spirit revelation inside

The theme of the Bible is all about God's plan
To provide redemption for all the sins of man
Jesus is God, promised Messiah, anointed One
Fulfilling prophecy no man could ever do alone

Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life
Faith in Him alone, by His death and sacrifice
Guarantees you will go to heaven for eternity
Do you know for sure today with all certainty?

By saying many interpretations of the Bible exist
Dismisses His divine truth revealed in its context
God desires diligence in time and careful study
Through the Spirit in taking His Word seriously

2 Timothy 2:15 (NASB)
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God
as a workman who does not need to be ashamed,
accurately handling the word of truth.

1 John 5:13 (NIV)
I write these things to you who believe in the name
of the Son of God so that you may KNOW that you have
eternal life. (emphasis added)
