Butterfly Kisses
From close enough we watched in awe
A warm moment today we saw
Innocence in pure perfection
A love scene viewed without direction
Her smile would show all she did feel
With fluttered wings upon nose steal
A gentle touch between it and her
A Kodak moment in me did stir
A conversation soon took place
Between insect and her soft face
They seemed to kiss and say hello
If for this time, before they'd go
She would walk as He would fly
This brief encounter became goodbye
A special bond between them two
It she held both drawn unto
Words not spoken but seen in eyes
Closed as if hard she would try
To wish it well upon its flight
As sunset came to bring the night
I watched and saw before it drew
It's sigh of love of this we knew
As kissed they did to bring to end
Butterfly kisses, two special friends
