We love because God loved us first,
Food for hunger and drink for thirst;
Guiding us on which way to go,
Helping us on what we should know.
But if you hate a believer,
Then you are a deceiver;
And nothing but a beguiler,
That God sees as a defiler.
So how could you ever love God,
Truly worship honor and laud;
And with hating one another,
No compassion for your brother.
When you love God love is perfect,
Leaving no room for a conflict;
And love never has any fear,
Because of knowing God is near.
For fear also causes the pain,
That the lust will make you retain;
And you cannot be having trust,
If your heart is filling with lust.
Christ has said for to share the love,
That the Father has shared thereof;
Show compassion for your brother,
Able to love one another.
